A very large specimen with a deep blue aquamarine main crystal from Brazil, accompanied by feldspar, black tourmaline, and garnet. Four minerals from a pegmatitic cavity genesis in a 39 cm × 35 cm collector's piece.

Brazilian pegmatite deposits in Minas Gerais are one of the world's richest sources of complex aggregate specimens. The order of mineralization can be directly observed on the piece: feldspar first (plagioclase phase), parallel beryl/aquamarine, followed by the accompanying minerals schorl-tourmaline and garnet in the remaining cavities.

The intense blueness of the aquamarine main crystal is typical of Minas Gerais deposits: more compact and deeper in color than Pakistani material. The iron concentration in the solution reservoir was sufficiently high here, and the radiation exposure was long.

Such four-mineral specimens are classified in the collector's trade as polymineralic pegmatite specimens. They combine aesthetic complexity with didactic mineralogy narrative.
