Little Parrot

A small parrot as a handcrafted sculpture made from several minerals. The body consists of white and blue calcite as well as sodalite, and the beak is made of onyx. The bird sits on a rock crystal base.

The multi-material composition follows the figurative tradition of Asian stonemason workshops, where animal figures are cut and assembled from combined minerals. Each figure is handmade and therefore unique.

The color combination of white, blue, and the clear rock crystal base makes the piece a decorative accent for a display cabinet or shelf.
