Little parrot

A handmade parrot sculpture made of white calcite and chrysocolla. The detailed beak is made of onyx, the base of rock crystal. This variant replaces the sodalite blue with the turquoise-green chrysocolla.

Chrysocolla is a copper-bearing silicate mineral with a Mohs hardness of 3 and a characteristic blue-green color. It forms as a secondary mineral in copper ore deposits and is valued in sculpture for its intense color effect.

The sculpture combines four minerals with different hardnesses and colors in a single bird form. The workshop's selection of stones determines the individual color composition of each piece.
