Beautiful calcite pelican

A handmade pelican made of yellow calcite, sodalite and pink calcite, elegantly sitting on a clear rock crystal base.

The beak is made of pink calcite and is inserted as a separate part, giving it natural depth. Sodalite provides a blue accent in the chest area.

Such Chinese stone birds are elaborate sculptures crafted from several suitably selected raw pieces. Each sculpture is individually assembled and is unique.
