Citrine belongs to the quartz family. The warm golden-yellow color is created by trace iron elements in the crystal lattice under natural radiation over millennia.

What distinguishes this pair is its pointed geode shape. Both halves end in a distinct pyramid apex, which is rarer in Brazilian geodes than the usual rounded shape.

The broad whitish agate rim shows several mineralization phases: a delicate chalcedony fringe, a narrow rock crystal layer, then the actual citrine point field towards the inside.

The two halves can be placed opposite each other, forming a balanced, almost architectural composition.
