Description

A citrine geode pair from Brazil in a warm amber color with calcite crystals. The two halves open along the central axis, with bright calcite tips sitting like a second generation on the citrine walls.

Amber-colored citrine indicates a high iron concentration in the original solution, resulting in a warm orange-brown hue. The Brazilian deposits in Rio Grande do Sul provide this material in premium color gradations.

Geode pairs are formed when a geode breaks open along its natural central axis. The constellation of the main citrine phase and calcite overgrowth documents a two-phase mineralization genesis.

The geode pair presentation allows for a 360° view of both halves. Symmetry and the multi-mineral combination make the piece a unique display form.
