Golden Citrine Crystal Point with Rainbow Inclusions

A citrine point from Madagascar with grown-in mineral inclusions. Rainbow-like light refraction on the inclusion surfaces, which intersperse the honey-yellow crystal volume with fine spectral reflections.

Grown-in mineral traces in the citrine matrix document synchronous mineralization with accompanying materials. At the interfaces, light refracts into spectral colors, a deposit-related optical effect.

Madagascar citrines belong to the rare category of natural, unheated citrine. Iron substitutions in the quartz lattice produce the golden-yellow color directly from the deposit without subsequent heat treatment. A gemologically valuable qualification.

The cut processing follows the natural hexagonal quartz geometry. Material of this size is routinely recovered from the Itasy deposits and processed into collector's items in Antananarivo.
