Beautiful citrine point with great inclusions

A Citrine Point from Madagascar in Premium Quartz Material Classification. Warm golden color with characteristic inclusions in the crystal body, visible as small phantom and needle structures under the hexagonally cut surface.

Madagascan citrines belong to the rare category of natural, unheated citrine. Iron substitutions in the quartz lattice produce the golden yellow color directly from the deposit, without subsequent heat treatment.

The Premium classification reflects manual selection of raw material by experienced miners in the Itasy region. The cutting process follows the natural hexagonal quartz geometry.

Material of this size is routinely recovered from the Itasy deposits. Processing into collector's items takes place in Antananarivo.

The inclusions are gemmologically a separate level of classification. Rutile needles, goethite coatings or phantom structures appear as geometric internal lines and make each point a unique optical specimen.
