Ruby-in-fuchsite is a collector's blend of two minerals. Red ruby corundum (Al₂O₃ with chromium) and green fuchsite mica (muscovite with chromium) crystallize synchronously from chrome-bearing solutions in the same metamorphic deposit.

The Indian deposits in Karnataka provide this material in gem quality. The combination of red ruby and green fuchsite creates a distinct complementary contrast.

The spherical shape maximizes the optical effect of the two-mineral constellation. With every rotation, different ruby portions become visible; each sphere is a unique optical piece.

The metamorphic material genesis occurred in a collision zone of Indian tectonics. Pressure and temperature were sufficient to synchronously crystallize corundum and muscovite from chrome-bearing precursor rocks.

An Indian collector's item with documented Karnataka provenance and gemmological two-mineral premium classification.
