A super dark amethyst geode from Uruguay with distinct color depth and natural crystal points. The rim consists of rock crystal and agate, cleanly cut and polished.

Uruguayan geodes are characterized by dark violet tones that are not to be confused with Brazilian material. The color results from higher iron traces in the quartz mineralization and natural radiation in the host rock.

The crystals inside were deliberately not cut to preserve their natural brilliance and point geometry. The outer rim, however, is cleanly polished and serves as a stable base.
