Chevron Amethyst Point with Impressive Grain

Chevron amethysts show characteristic V-shaped banding lines. They are formed by alternating growth layers of clear quartz and purple amethyst, a rare crystal growth variant.

The slender vertical shape makes the piece a columnar sculpture. The V-banding lines, in this tall geometry, appear as a continuous striped pattern over the full height of the crystal.

Namibian Brandberg deposits produce such taller chevron points comparatively rarely. The material quality in this size with clear banding is a distinct collector's feature.
