Special amethyst heart with large and small crystals

An amethyst heart from Brazil with large and small crystals of mixed growth and delicate, golden goethite needles between the tips.

Goethite (FeO(OH)) forms needle-like inclusions in quartz, documenting a second mineral generation within the amethyst geode. These goethite inclusions are rare in Brazilian material and are highly collectible.

The edge consists of light blue agate; some areas on the back show the original basalt matrix of the gas bubble. Only the outer edge has been polished; the crystals inside remain in their natural state.

The combination of growth size variation, goethite needles, and blue agate border makes this heart a Brazilian solitaire for the collector's cabinet.
