Beautiful Pink Amethyst Heart from Brazil

A decorative amethyst heart from Brazil with an unusual color mix of pink amethyst, yellowish iron inclusions, and white rock crystal. Individual openings in the heart reveal the crystal points inside.

The pink coloration in rare amethyst formations is caused by iron oxide admixtures during crystal growth. The combination of white rock crystal and yellow zones in a single geode layer is mineralogically interesting.

The piece was cut from a segment of a volcanic gas bubble. The heart shape follows the natural crystal arrangement without the inner points being altered.
