Rock crystal is the purest form of quartz. The crystals grow in hexagonal columns and end in a typical six-sided pyramidal point, characterized by the trigonal quartz structure.

Since the 19th century, Brazil has supplied rock crystal of the highest clarity worldwide. Each specimen is a natural product with an individual shape. Shape and dimensions may differ from the example image.
