Large clear mountain crystal point with great inclusions from Brazil

An exceptionally large polished rock crystal point from Brazil, with clear to milky-white phases and fine growth inclusions inside.

Rock crystal belongs to the quartz family. This pure, colorless variety crystallizes in pegmatitic fissures when hydrothermal solutions are free of coloring trace elements.

The fine cloudy inclusions trace the growth history of the crystal. They are not defects but visual timestamps of mineralization.

What makes this point special is its sheer size. Solitaires of this dimension are recovered from the traditional mining regions of Goiás and Minas Gerais. They are cut with the aim of a single polished point.

The upper termination was executed with a flat polished cut, the base is polished as a standing surface. The side surfaces follow the natural crystal growth.
