A large Citrine geode from Brazil, of gallery dimensions. The warm golden-yellow crystals fill the interior of the geode with a dense layer of clearly arranged points.

Citrine, a yellow iron-bearing quartz variety, crystallizes in volcanic geodes of the Serra Geral basalt formation. Brazilian deposits in Rio Grande do Sul yield geodes of this block size; premium classification is awarded based on color intensity and crystal clarity.

The slender, tall form with balanced three-axis geometry indicates an appropriate cavity volume. Such geodes of this height are a deposit-specific premium classification.
