Beautiful polished rose quartz point

Rose quartz from Brazilian pegmatite deposits in Rio Grande do Norte is the highest quality gemological material worldwide. The pink color is caused by traces of manganese and titanium in the microcrystal structure.

Unlike clear quartz, rose quartz is rarely found in large euhedral crystals. Most pieces are massive aggregates from pegmatitic deposits, which makes polished points into curated sculptural works.
