Rose Quartz Point

A rose quartz point from Madagascar with a strong pink color and beautiful marbling. The piece is free of brown inclusions and shows homogeneous coloring.

Rose quartz is a variety of quartz with the formula SiO₂ and a characteristic pink coloration, caused by iron and titanium micro-inclusions. Madagascar provides particularly richly colored pieces.

The point did not grow hexagonally crystalline, but was cut as a massive mineral aggregate from pegmatite deposits. The shape has been polished so that it can be presented freestanding.
