A lilac amethyst geode pair from Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, in a classic harmonious form. Both halves show large, bright amethyst crystals, framed by a thin rim of blue-gray agate and rock crystal.

The pair originated from a crystallized gas bubble that was cut in half down the middle. Both halves are mirror images of each other and are intended to be displayed as a pair.

Rio Grande do Sul is the most important Brazilian amethyst region. The delicate lilac hue is created by lower iron concentrations in the quartz, combined with natural radiation.
