Beautiful Citrine Double Terminated Crystal

A Citrine double-terminated crystal from Brazil. Both ends are pointed, a symmetrical double-terminated geometry in standard collector size.

Double-terminated crystals grow freely in the geode solution without being connected to the geode wall. This configuration documents the free movement of the crystal in the solution during growth.

Brazilian citrine deposits in Rio Grande do Sul supply this material from the Serra Geral Basalt Formation. The natural gold color is created by iron substitutions in the quartz lattice, without subsequent heat treatment.

The compact collector size makes this piece a classic jewelry or display case format. Double-terminated crystals are a separate classification in the collector market compared to standard single-terminated crystals.
