Beautiful amethyst sphere with great transparency from Brazil

A hand-polished amethyst sphere from Brazil with a strong violet color and high transparency. The sphere shows fine natural inclusions that refract light inside and create vibrant color depth depending on its position.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz whose violet color is caused by trace elements of iron and ionizing radiation during crystallization. Brazilian amethysts are among the classic representatives of this variety with balanced color saturation.

Placed on an illuminated base, the polished sphere casts reflections into the surroundings and makes the inner play of light visible. Our spheres are manufactured in our own grinding shops from superficially weathered rough stones.
